I’m very sad to hear this. I worked with Sal at Wyeth for a few years and outside of my close family and friends, Sal was my favorite person that I’ve ever met. He was so upbeat and absolutely hilarious! Always joking around but never at anybody’s expense. He was just such a great human being, I’d light up every time I was around him. I remember him showing up at St. Monica’s for my wedding only after only knowing him a short time. He had a knack for showing love and respect like that. He really had an impact on me in regards to what kind of man I wanted to become. I feel so fortunate to have known him.

Carol, Jana, Marc and family,
I just learned of sal’s passing after getting the sympathy card from you . I am so sorry for your devastating loss.

Dear Carol, So sorry for your loss. I worked with SAL for 25 yrs. at honeywell and he made the job a pleasure. We had a lot of laughs together ! One of my favorite stories , I tell to this day , was about your wedding reception so very long ago .Not only was it a beautiful wedding but the reception was a page out of THE GODFATHER . A lot of dark sunglasses !!! I know SAL to be a great husband, father, and a great American. I'm so saddened to hear this news, My very deepest condolences to Sal s family, cousins and friends. Carol thank you for being a great spouse to Sal and thank you Mark and Jana for being great children to Sal. My best memories of Sal is how easy he was to like. I also remember him mom reading his letters from Vietnam to me when I was a young teenager and how proud I was of him.
I always liked to call Sal Butch. But either way
we all loved him and will miss him. RIP

Dear Carol, We are heartbroken for the sad news. So glad we visited you both in your new home in the fall. Sal was his jovial fun self. When I would call and he answered, his voice was always happy and I will miss that. I will always remember our years being your Methuen neighbor and visiting with you and Sal. He is at Peace,

Sal you were the brother I never had an blessed to have known you all those years.
I will always have the memories we shared together from those days we went fishing at the Merrimack River to playing ball in the back yard.
Also Nancy and I want to thank Carol and her family in including us as part of their family those were such fun times.
Sal what I will remember most about you was your kindness and your concern for Nancy’s health.
