One of the most honorable guys in North Andover. His sister Olivia went to St. Mikes and NAHS with me. His brother Frankie was mentally disabled and could be found all over town (this was before special needs) and Bob would go to find him and bring him home. His great grandfather fought in the Civil War and while in the south he passed down time by picking up southern chestnuts and when he finally got home, he planted them around the town. Bob was a mailman and loved the job, played football for NAHS with the big 1957 championship . He was one of the only kids I ever saw stand up to the nuns when he saw mistreatment. Fellow member of the Holy Name, The Men's Prayer group. He would always stop to talk to me whenever he saw me working outside. Bobby was a good friend and I'll miss him a lot.
