Claire "Murphy" Hearl's Obituary
Claire "Murphy" Hearl, 67, a resident of Westwood, MA. and formerly of Andover, MA died on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Seasons Hospice Milton Inpatient Center, Milton, MA.
Born in Lawrence on January 27, 1951, daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred (Schruender) Dimlich. Murphy was educated in the local Andover Schools and was a graduate of Andover High School in 1969. She later received her Bachelors Degree at Simmons College in Boston, MA.
Murphy and her husband Lance owned and operated Back Bay Wholesalers Floral Company for many years, where they worked hard and were always there to help others. She was an exceptional Gardner and enjoyed her Cottage by the Ocean. Murphy was a volunteer for the Holy Family Auxiliary in Methuen, MA., the Westwood Meals on Wheels and for the Thrift Shop in Westwood.
She was the wife of the late Lance S. Hearl. Family members include her daughter Suzie and her husband Rick Canale of Westwood, MA. Her sisters Judith M. Dimlich of Reading, MA and Susan Bachrach of Washington, DC
Her grandsons Ryan and Lance Canale of Westwood, MA. Cousins Helen and Byron Wyche of Norwood, MA. As well as several other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late David J. Dimlich.
Her celebration of life mass will be celebrated in Saint Michaels Church, 196 Main Street, in North Andover, Massachusetts on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00AM. Her burial will be private.
