So many memories❤️ As the operating room manager at St. John’s Hospital in Lowell Muriel was a force to be reckoned with!!! Even the most respected surgeons respected Muriel, who never feared reprimanding a neurosurgeon who loved to make an entrance by throwing open the operating room doors. Her voice echoed down the hall and an apology was quickly forthcoming.
A heart of gold had Muriel. Healing was in her DNA as a nurse and as a healing prayer minister. She opened her heart and her home to many friends needing an encouraging word or prayer or both - never leaving without a meal or snack of her creation.
When her mother was still living, I often visited her home. We had many a good laugh and sang many much loved songs to Mary’s delight.
I could go on but I will say - “Muriel, the world is a less joyful place without you. Thank you for all your love and encouragement over the years. Rest in peace, my friend….though, knowing you, you have already suggested a list of things God might have you do from your heavenly place. Love you forever❤️ Bev Eskel
