Maureen Kelley, 82, passed away on September 18th, 2024, at her home in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. She was born in Lawrence and educated at Saint Patrick’s grammar and high schools. Maureen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Read Obituary
Miss Kelley, as I knew her, was my 1st grade teacher 25 years ago and she made such an impact on me I have never forgotten her. What a wonderful woman she was and dedicating her whole life to educating kids. Condolences to her friends and family. May she rest in peace.
I had the honor of working with Maureen at East Derry Memorial School in Derry N.H. when the school opened the doors in 1986. Maureen always brought her love and compassion and devotion to our school community and it was contagious ! Maureen was a class act ! Our thoughts and prayers are with Maureen and her family at this time ❤️
Our condolences to the Kelly family for their loss. We were so fortunate that Jack was a counselor at Floyd School with Maureen and our son Ben was in her first grade class. I have fond memories of the entire Kelley clan. Went to St Pat’s with Eileen. We should grammar school ,high school, nursing school. I will always remember the great suburban and watching Eileen drive it. I travel to Canada with Maureen decades ago. It was amazing to see the people whose lives. She touched. We were in a class of 48 girls at St. Patrick’s Elementary School in Lawrence; the class of 1955. I would walk from my house to her’s on Abbott Street and we would continue on to school together. We often played together after school.

Maureen certainly scattered kindness. Having the opportunity to work along with her in Derry at the Floyd School in the 80’s. She was always giving and kind. It saddens me that we lost touch after many years but her strong support will always be remembered with love. RIP Maureen
