Marie E Norton Pekarski, 94 of Lawrence MA passed away on August 24, 2024 at High Pointe House in Haverhill after a period of declining health. Born in Lawrence on September 5,1929, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and L Read Obituary

Mrs Pekarski was always a lovely, graceful Lady, neighbor and wonderful teacher.
Our community was blessed to have her among us.

I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She was my kindergarten teacher as well as a dear neighbor. We reconnected many years later. I last spoke w her in June. She and I would talk on the phone to catch-up on the neighbors in the old neighborhood and our families. She always ended the phone call with "I love you"! How fortunate was I to stay in touch with my favorite teacher at 54 years old. She was a special lady. So sorry for your loss.
She was my kindergarten teacher and my neighbor in Lawrence…she will always be the sweetest teacher I ever had…❤️❤️
Mrs. Pekarski was my kindergarten teacher in 1982, and I’ve looked at her photo serval times over the years always bringing warm memories of how kind she was to us in class. Sending my condolences to all of her family & friends.

So very sorry to learn of your Moms passing. I have such good memories of tower hill, as a young girl and fast forward to St Mary’s, Dr Smiths office and seeing her and your Dad at the Riverwalk when I would be walking with my Dad. Your whole family was so good to my mom through the years. I know from reading all the names of grandchildren and great grandchildren you have a beautiful legacy of love to help you through this difficult time. Ann (Pekarski) Hill
Mrs. Pekarski was my kindergarten teacher 50 years ago in 1975 at the Bruce School in Lawrence, Mass. I’m 56 now and I still remember what a wonderful caring teacher she was. That sure says a lot when someone has a lifelong affect on people. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
My mother was a friend and colleague of Marie and held her in the warmest regard. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a special lady.
