Margaret (Genest) Moynihan's Obituary
Margaret (Genest) Moynihan, 106, passed away on December 27, 2017 at Penacook Place in Haverhill, MA.
She was born June 1, 1911 to Henry and Mary (Stevenson) Genest in Lawrence, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Moynihan to whom she was married for 56 years, and her son Jack Moynihan.
Margaret attended Lawrence schools and went on to become a Registered Nurse after graduating from Lawrence General School of Nursing.
She is survived by her son Richard Moynihan of Ackworth, GA, her daughters Mary McCaffrey of Chelmsford and Peg Moynihan of Methuen, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, Lawrence on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 11:00AM.
Margaret's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and caretakers at Penacook Place and Merrimack Valley Hospice for the quality of care and support they provided.
