Kay always had an open house and a smile for everyone. My Mom was her friend and my sisters and I grew up with Kay's kids. Prospect Hill was a wonderful place to grow up in. Mike and I are sorry to learn "we" have all lost a wonderful person. We always enjoyed being in her presence , and ejoyed how special she could make everyone feel. Her ways were great gifts we would all do well to practice. Our best wishes to her children, and grandchildren, and the little greats who will remember her too. You were lucky to have had her.
Meme, You will be missed and always cherished and loved for the GREAT person you were! You will have a big place in my heart for how you took wonderful care of my brother and I when my mother worked. We were not family by the traditional sense, but you were still like a Grandmother to my brother and I. You loved us like we were your own Grandchildren. We always felt like family while we were in your care and sometimes never wanted to leave when our mother picked us up. I also remember that there were many vacation days that we wanted to go to Meme?s house even thought we had no school and our mother was home. It was so much fun getting to play with all her Grandchildren and even some Great Grandchildren.
