ANDOVER, MA- Joyce Ann (McCaffrey) McGrath, age 73, a long time resident of Andover, MA, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Emmanuel College and Boston University. Joyce taught at Lawrence High School as well as in Scotia and Glenville, NY. She also taught in the Andover School System for 30 years. She is survived by her son Scott and her granddaughter Sydney. Other family members include her brother-in-law Joseph A. McGovern, her niece JoAnn Reed, her nephews John and James McGovern, their spouses and five grandnieces and nephews. Joyce would appreciate your prayers and kind thoughts to speed her on her way. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
