I was lucky enough to have Mr. Ford as a teacher in 1983. I was struggling and he took notice and gave me extra assistance. On many occasions he gave me extra help with the day’s lesson and then drove me the 8 miles home, knowing I would be otherwise walking. I’ve always appreciated his kindness and wish I had thanked him. He was kind and encouraging and nonjudgmental.
I was lucky enough to have had Joe as a teacher and teach with him at the beginning of my career. He was a kind man with a big heart. Two of my fondest memories were when he saw I was teaching at CHS with another former student (now teacher) he looked at us and said “all the bad pennies always come back “. We laughed so hard. Memory two was I was taking some higher level math classes and he peered over my shoulder and said “ let me help you”. For 3 weeks he sat with me on his own and helped me get through the class. I will never forget you Joe. Go Blue.

My love for Pam and Joe was great. We had many a holiday together. They were always fun. Especially if football was on the TV. You could always hear the cheers and dumb moves from Joe
