John H. Wazlaw's Obituary
John H. Wazlaw, 71, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1953, the son of the late Henry and Mary (Lynch) Wazlaw.
Known to his loved ones as Jack, he graduated from Lawrence High School in 1971 and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Northern Essex Community College. He was employed for many years as a Customer Service Representative with McKesson Corporation.
Jack was a devoted reader and a passionate collector of books, with a special interest in the history of England and the British Monarchy. Some of his most treasured memories were made during his visits to England and at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye, NH.
Jack is survived by his sister M. Terri Autieri and her husband Robert C. Autieri of Methuen; his brother Robert F. Wazlaw and his wife Pamela Walsh-Wazlaw of Hudson, NH; his nephews Dr. Christopher Autieri of Windham, NH; and he was predeceased by his nephew Michael Autieri.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 24th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, followed by a burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. Jack’s family especially wishes to recognize and thank Jack’s lifelong friend, Daniel Ahern, who provided emotional support and care for Jack over this past year.
