We have known Jack for about twenty years. Initially as a slightly eccentric neighbor, but quickly as a dear friend and part of our extended family. Often coming over to listen to music and cookout or join us for day trips to the beach and the occasional vacation. Jack could be stubborn, but always naturally kind and thoughtful. He’d call almost daily to check in on us, particularly my wife and her had medical challenges. I had a special (humorous) ring tone set for Jack, which I believe he appreciated even he always claimed otherwise. I can’t tell you how much I miss hearing it already.
We love and miss you Jack,

So sorry to learn of Cousin Jack's passing. We saw each regularly as children and lost touch. We reconnected for a time when I was in college, only to lose touch again.
Jack introduced me to the music of America and Elton John—something I’ll always be grateful for. To this day, whenever I hear Friends by Elton John, I think of him.
Rest in peace, Cousin Jack. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to the family.

We worked with John at McKesson for many years. He shared his love of reading with us and his enthusiasm about period pieces. He will be missed. Our condolences to his family.

I have known Jack for many years. Our families spent considerable time together in our early childhood years. I reconnected with Jack in the 1990s and, we have stayed in touch since then. Jack was very well read and a very literate man.
During all these years, I’ve known him to be a gentle soul. He is finally at peace.
I will remember you Jack.

I am a high school classmate of John's, and while we were not particularly close back then, we did have the opportunity to reconnect in the last 15-20 years, sharing school memories several times a year and becoming involved with Lawrence High School reunions. I always found him to be thoughtful and considerate, and as someone who added a dimension of depth to our occasional dinners and conversations. While I was never able to convince him to walk the Colonial Boston Freedom Trail with me before his illness, I hope he will have the opportunity to do so in spirit.
