I just read this cause I road by and his chairs weren't on the deck. I worked at the Visiting nurses untill i had my knees replaced. I feel very blessed have ment Jack he was such a pleasure to see and visit with 3 mornings a week every time I drove by if he was out he would wave. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will really miss the talks and pictures of his family he shared with me. God bless you all.
I always felt safe when I was out late. I will miss our conversations over his balconey. John was a sweetheart of a guy.I still look up to his window, to say hi.

Dear Mary, Mark and Family, My heart was heavy when I learned of Jack's passing. The first thing that came to mind was, 'Jack always had a genuine and kind heart. He was so nice.' Hands down, Jack was truly one of the kindest people I've ever met. He was funny, a character...and will always be known as "The Governor" to me. It was clear to me how much he loved his family, and how close-knit he was to you. It is my sincerest hope that in time your tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy as you recall "all things Jack."
