Mr. Cargill, Susan, David, Danny & Mary Lou,
I'm sure that Mrs. C is quilting in heaven and talking to everyone about the 'kids' that she taught. How fortunate for all of us 'kids' that we grew up together in a neighborhood where she was one of our many 'mom's' who watched out for us. Whether it was that Mrs. C look of disapproval that you know came with love, or the many treats she would feed us, the memories are endless. Anyone that knew her, however, also knows that the most precious people in her life were Mr. C and her children, grandchildren and greats. Family meant everything to her, and it was obvious in any conversation.
My heart goes out to all of you. But I know that she will forever be in your hearts and minds. There is another Cargill angel watching over you all. Whenever you see a Cardinal, you know she is near. She will live on in the sparkle of the sun hitting the ocean in early light, and the moon's glow at night.
Thank you for sharing her with all of us. May the road rise up to meet her.
Love,
Bridget
