So sorry to hear of passing of one of the best people I’ve ever met. As a young naive associate engineer George took me under his wing and gave me the skills to navigate the professional environment. His personality and mine clicked from the day I met him. We shared many card games, lunches and “good friend” conversations. We also shared a kindred spirit. Although I haven’t been in contact with him for many years, those days of working together and all the good memories have never left me. As I sit here writing this note with tears in my eyes I know he will always be with me in spirit. I loved the man.

To Joan, Karyn, and family: on behalf of my mother Elba and myself, I'd like to express our sincere condolences. I know my Mom has many happy memories of the days when going out with my dad to meet up with the WE/Lucent gang at Ralph's and elsewhere was a regular thing. I recall occasionally getting a chance to share in the laughter and good times. Very sorry for your loss.
