My heart goes out to the Benjamin family I knew Mr Benjamin through a CETA summer program many years ago my friend Martha and I were constantly being spoiled by him he has a wonderful heart he died the same day I buried my father it's a double loss for me.

Frank "Benji" was a warm compassionate caring person. I met him through the social softball league when he took my brother Gary, Mr. Turkey as Frank called him, under his wing. Gary who was a quadraplegic, adored Benji and Frank was a very special friend to him , making him honorary bat boy on his teams and giving him the nick name Mr. Turkey. We spent many many nights down at the Schofield softball field cheering on his teams. Not only was he a special friend to my brother but a mentor and friend to so many throughout the area. He was a special person and I will always remember him for being a great friend, kind hearted person filled with compassion for everyone he knew. RIP Benji and hope you and Gary will meet once again and reminisce about the good old days
My deepest sympathies to the Benjamin family. Mr. B was one of a kind. I ran into him frequently at Market Basket and he always stopped to say hello and ask about my family. I will miss seeing him.

I was lucky to have known Mr. Benjamin all my life. Thankful to have spent time with him and his son Tom during rides to and from little league games through the years to varsity sports at Tenney. Grateful for all the advice and constructive criticism he gave me. He will be sadly missed. The Benjamin family is in our thoughts and prayers. Jeff and Linda Mackor.

WAS SADDENED TO HEAR THE PASSING OF SUCH A GREAT AND CARING MAN WHO GAVE SO MUCH OF HIMSELF TO SO MANY IN THE CITY OF LAWRENCE. IT WAS SUCH AN HONOR AND PLEASURE TO KNOW HIM.
I ALSO WANTED TO SAY THAT I KNEW HIM WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG, HE GREW UP AND HUNG AROUND WITH MY COUSING BETTY MONDALTO AND THEY HAD ALWAYS KEPT IN TOUCH. BETTY WAS ALSO SADDENED BY HIS PASSING AND SAYS SHE WILL MISS A GOOD FRIEND.
