Jimmy O'keefe
To Bette Daly'sfamily. This is a very late tribute to a woman I worked so closely with at the James F Leonard school in Lawrence. She was a teacher (8th grade) and teacher coach. She did multiple jobs for everyone teachers and students. Graduations were a success because of her hard work. We had a lot of fun in the late eighties. Working with Bette on many projects was exciting. She had a great sense of humor. She cared deeply for all students. She was part of the legendary 8th grade teachers Joe Smith, Dan Saba and Bette Daly. My years at the Leonard will always be remembered fondly because of Bette.
You loved your family and your job. I am blessed to have met you on this short journey called life. Goodbye for now.
