David Agazarian's Obituary
David Agazarian, 68, of Salem, New Hampshire passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. He was born on December 5, 1948 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of the late David B. and Jacqueline H. (Atamian) Agazarian. David was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and earned his undergraduate degree from U Mass at Amherst. He went on to study law at the University of Kansas School of Law.
He worked as an Attorney for the federal government until his retirement in 2008. He received numerous awards and accolades for his outstanding work throughout his career.
Growing up, he enjoyed summer Sundays spent at Salisbury beach with the entire family, including grandparents and aunts. Everyone enjoyed their day which included the traditional Armenian feast barbecue. David had the voice of an angel and was the lead soloist in the junior choir. No one was more disappointed than the choir director when his voice changed. He actually had a following of people who made sure they attended service when it was known he would be singing.
David was a gentle soul who had an impact on all the people he met. He saw the good in everyone. His knowledge of history and politics was unsurpassed. He was fascinated by the weather and had a special radio that was dedicated to national and local weather reports. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His family members include his beloved wife Barbara (Nahill) Agazarian; his sister Rosemary Morel of Methuen, MA and her sons Michael and Matthew Morel; sister-in-law: Nancy Nahill Monti and her husband Jeffrey Monti of Cumberland, RI; brother-in-law: Thomas E. and his wife Robin Nahill of Amherst, NH. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Michael Morel.
