Dan and I have been friends for many years, since we first worked together at Lechmere, in the 70's. I live in Florida, so we only saw each other in the summer, when I came up to New England to escape the heat. We were really good friends, and I will always miss the close bond that we had,.
To the whole Breen Family, you have my sympathy, i know you will miss Dan.

The first time I spoke with Dan, he was the electronics buyer (HiFi) for Lechmere in the late 1970s. I was a salesman in one of the stores. He was very helpful. I would meet him a few years later when we were both in the wholesale end of the Consumer Electronics business. We would bump into each other at meetings, trade shows and more. Dan was always kind, and carried himself like a real pro. He will be missed.
Sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I grew up in the same neighborhood with Dan and his family. There were only a few families, but lots of kids. I have fond memories of playing football, basketball and baseball with Dan and his siblings . My sincere condolences to Dan;s family and the whole Breen family.
