Charles A. Carroll's Obituary
Charles A. Carroll, 77, a resident of Andover, MA passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, Charles was educated in the North Andover Schools and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He then went on to graduate from Merrimack College with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. Charles was a builder of fine homes in the Andover and North Andover area. Prior to that he had worked as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service. Charles loved to sing and knew all the words to every song he sung. He will also be remembered as the life of the party. Charles loved to talk with people and knew everyone in town. A very athletic person, Charles enjoyed skiing and tennis as well as many other sports.
Members of Charles’s family include his wife of 58 years Carol Ann (McGhee) Carroll, his daughter Susan (Carroll) Hoehn and her husband Jeffrey Hoehn of Sandown, NH, a son James V. Carroll of North Andover, MA, grandchildren: Jonathan Demers, Elizabeth Demers, Melony Bradish Hoehn, Amy Monsaert, Vanessa Lemieux, Matthew Carroll, Charles A. Carroll, III and Caitlyn Carroll as well as a great granddaughter Lily Demers. He is also survived by a sister Nancy Moore and a brother Daniel Murphy as well as several nieces and nephews.
