Anna Marie (Savastano) Lombardi's Obituary
Anna Marie Lombardi (Savastano), of Methuen, MA, died Monday, 21JAN of Natural Causes. She was 84 years old at the time of her death.
Anna attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of the Lawrence General Hospital Nursing School in 1955. She worked as an RN for 45years, at the Lawrence General Hospital and numerous Nursing Homes in the Greater Lawrence Area.
Anna attended Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church and was a daily communicant at Saint Monica’s in Methuen before her failing health rendered her homebound. Anna was a devoted & loving mother & grandmother. Anna was a former member of the Legion of Mary, and made countless rosaries for the Missions. She loved to travel and visited France, Italy, Czechoslovakia & Russia. Anna was a devout catholic who practiced her faith. She was a gentle, loving & caring person.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Andrew J. Lombardi, her son Andrew A. Lombardi & daughter Lisa Ann Robichaud. Her parents, Agostino Savastano from Caserta, Italy, Nicoletta Integlia from Campo Basso, Italy. Also her brothers, Louis, Olindo (Bill), Harry & Agostino Jr. Sisters Lillian Riccio & Rita Imondi. She is survived by her son Eugene A Lombardi of Frederick, MD. Also, Janet Lombardi of Chelmsford, MA & James Robichaud of Tewksbury, MA. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Nina, Anthony, Alexander, Vanessa, Dylan, Joshua, Andrew, Dana, & Michael. Four great grandchildren, Isaac, Jacqueline, James & Olive. Several nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, in Lawrence, MA., followed by a Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA at 11:00 a.m. Her burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
