Zaven P. "Sabu" Nigohosian's Obituary
Zaven P. “Sabu” Nigohosian, 86, a resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.
Born in Lawrence, Sabu was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a 1953 graduate of Lawrence High School. He was retired from his job of custodian at the Frost School. Prior to that he had delivered flowers for Jackson Flowers and had also worked as a truck driver for Donabedian Brothers in Salem, NH. Sabu was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He will be remembered for his lasting memories of Lawrence.
The son of the late Tookman and Maritza (Ahachadoorian) Nigohosian, Sabu is survived by his wife Arleen (McCormick) Nigohosian, 3 sons: Kevin Nigohosian and his wife Shelly of Dunstable MA, David Nigohosian and his wife Nicki of North Carolina and Christopher Nigohosian and his wife Jessica of Lawrence as well as 9 grandchildren: Riley, Erin, Nicholas, Samantha, Eliana, Jacob, Briana, Christopher and Zoey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. At the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA followed by a brief prayer service. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery also in Lawrence.
