William B. Sullivan's Obituary
William B. Sullivan, 79, of North Andover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Bill was born in Lawrence on March 1, 1943 to the late Bernard A. and Rita F. (Creeley) Sullivan. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence, moving to North Andover 5 years ago.
Bill attended Lawrence Public schools, and was a graduate of Lawrence High, class of 1960. Bill worked for J.W. Daly in Lawrence as a Home Health Care Consultant for 34 years. After his retirement, he worked part-time for NESC Federal Credit Union.
He enjoyed extensive travelling with his wife, Barbara and quite often with his children and grandchildren. He was a great fan of all the Boston sports teams and an avid 45’s player at the British Club and Concordia Club in Lawrence.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister Geraldine Mears and her husband Robert “Bob” Mears.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Barbara A. (Houde) Sullivan, his 4 daughters: Kelly A. Kawa and her husband Yogi of Middleboro, MA, Colleen M. Avedikian and her husband Daniel of Westport, MA, Robin L. Dowd and her husband Donald of Salem, NH and Sherri A. DeLucca and her husband James of Haverhill. Survivors also include his grandchildren: Nicholas, William, Emily, Donald Jr., Gianna and James III. Bill’s grandchildren affectionately called him Pa, and brought him so much pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother Francis ”Bud” Sullivan and his wife Nancy of Milton, NH, his mother-in-law Edna Houde of Andover and sisters-in-law Janice Almonte and Lynne Davis. Bill will also be sadly missed by his many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Saylor, Dr. Kerry Reynolds, their amazing team and his attentive nurses Carlos, Lucy and Shannon. Arrangements: Calling hours are from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 35 Merrimack St. North Andover, MA 01845. Funeral services will be held at 5pm at the same location. Burial will be private.
