Attorney Walter J. Corcoran's Obituary
Attorney Walter J. Corcoran, 94, of North Andover passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1929, in Waltham, Massachusetts, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Lanigan) Corcoran. Walter was graduate of Saint Mary's High School in Waltham, MA. and a graduate of Boston College Undergrad and Law School. He practiced as an Attorney for his own Law Firm for 60 plus years. Walter served during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Waltham Rotary Club, and was an avid Golfer. Walter enjoyed traveling, especially to the Cape, and loved spending time with his family. He was a parishioner of Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA.
Husband of the late Patricia A. (Moore) Corcoran of 58 years
Father of Michael J. Corcoran of North Andover, MA.
Uncle to Louise Corcoran Honor of Mansfield, MA as well as several cousins and a close friend Mary Ferullo of Methuen, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, No. Andover, MA. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 196 Main Street, No. Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in No. Andover, MA.
