Virginia H. (Bolis) Molloy's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia H. (Bolis) Molloy, 90, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MA., passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Virginia was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Virginia started her career at Western Electric and retired from Lucent Technologies after over 30 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Lawrence. Virginia enjoyed cooking and quilting. Family was a big part of her life. She also enjoyed walking. The widow of Francis M. Molloy who passed away in 1981, members of her family include: her son: Mark J. Molloy and his wife Carol of Methuen, MA. sister-in-law: Helen Molloy of Lawrence, MA. as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Virginia was mother of the late Francis Molloy as well as sister of the late Alphonse, Joseph, and Raymond Bolis. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
