Veronica "Ronnie" Befito's Obituary
Veronica “Ronnie” Befito, 78, of Hathorne, Mass. formerly of Lawrence, Mass. passed away on Monday, May 11th, 2020 at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Mass.
She was born in Lawrence on June 6th, 1941 and was the daughter to the late Charles and Veronica Befito. Ronnie was home until the age of 30 then entered into the Hogan Home in Hathorne, Mass. where she developed many close friends and was very well liked. The doctors loved her. She loved her family, and had a wonderful sense of humor and was lots of fun.
Ronnie loved her sister who she called “Auntie Marilyn”. She enjoyed her treats and sweets and especially loved her iced coffee when her sister came to visit.
Her family members include her sister: Marilyn (Befito) Zenevitch of Lawrence, Mass.
Niece: Ellen Maloney and her husband John of Methuen, Mass
Nephew: James and his wife Janice Zenevitch of Methuen, Mass
Great niece and nephew Katie and Jimmy Zenevitch of Methuen, Mass.
As well as a few grandnieces and grandnephews.
Sister to the late Carol and John Deacon
Aunt to the late Peter Deacon, who were all of Methuen
Sister to the late Charles ”Chuckie” Befito
Sister-in-law to the late Bernard V. Zenevitch
Her services will take place on Thursday, due to the current situation they will be private.
