Sincere condolences and prayers for Tom to his family from a childhood friend, neighbor and classmate from St. Augies and CCHS.
Living across the street from Tom we walked to school together many times and later took the bus or hitch-hiked to CCHS.
We played ball together, had our distinctive nick-names and were all around good friends together with a lot of other kids from town.
I see from his picture he hasn't changed much except for some missing hair but then again who's to talk.
Last time I saw him was at CCHS's 50th reunion. I talked to him a few months ago when he had just finished a round of golf. Sadly, things didn't work out for getting together when I was in town which wasn't very often.
Tom was a lot of fun to hang around with even though he broke my nose once. It turned out OK cause all the girls felt sorry for me.
Knowing that he is no longer with us but with God, I will miss him and pray for him with the hope of seeing him someday along with all our childhood friends.
