Therese (Tarabay) BouMitri's Obituary
Therese (Tarabay) BouMitri, loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother and sister, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Senegal Africa, on August 11, 1953. She is survived by her husband Antoine BouMitri, son Andre BouMitri, daughter Anabelle Owaida and son- in-law Robert. She will be missed by her three granddaughters, Grace, Maya, and Jackie Owaida. In Lebanon, she is survived by her two sisters Marie BouMitri, husband George and Jamal Tarabay. Along with nephews and nieces, Eli BouMitri, Lili Ziade, Jeannette Mwaness, and Anthony BouMitri.
Therese came to the United States in 1976, her first and most important priority was taking care of her family. She was a dedicated paraprofessional for many years and held her last position in the Haverhill School System. Therese’s faith has always been strong and a big part of her life. She will always be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, and gentle nature.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury St. Lawrence, MA, 01841. Her funeral mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 6:00PM at the church.
