Theresa A. Fenton's Obituary
On August 20th, 2022, after a brief illness, Theresa A Fenton passed away peacefully at her niece's home in North Andover surrounded by her family. Theresa was born in Lawrence, MA on April 5th 1930 to Thomas & Mary Regan. She was a first grade teacher at the Breen school in Lawrence for over 35 years. She was a dedicated teacher who loved her students, often going the extra mile to make sure they had what they needed, be that anything from pencils to coats & boots. Her students loved her too & many stayed in contact with her after growing up. Theresa was happiest spending time with family & friends & enjoyed traveling to Florida & Europe. She was a devout Catholic who loved reading mysteries & doing crossword puzzles in her spare time.
In 2014 after over 50 years of marriage, Theresa was predeceased by her husband John E Fenton, Jr. She was also predeceased by her twin sister Patsy Martineau, nephew Paul Martineau & grand nephew Thomas Pollano.
Theresa is survived by her niece Patricia Pollano (John) of North Andover, grand niece Amy Pollano of Andover, nephew Thomas Martineau of Salem NH, grand nephew Paul Pollano (Ashley) of North Andover, Leslie Martineau of Haverhill, grandnieces Sarah Figueroa (John) of Manchester NH, Megan Martineau (Joe) of Derry NH, brother in law Paul Martineau (Evelyn) of Andover & great grandnieces Emery, Ava & Prestyn, her special cousin Marie Pekarski & her many other cousins & friends. Theresa will live on forever in our hearts & memories. Private funeral & burial services were handled by John Breen Funeral Home, Lawrence MA. Donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the MSPCA Nevins Farm, Methuen MA
