Suellen P. (Conley) Eaton's Obituary
Suellen P. (Conley) Eaton, 75, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on June 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth R. and Joseph T. Conley. She was a proud graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1968, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Early in her career, Suellen worked as a sales representative for Colombo Yogurt. She later served as a manager at MKS Instruments in Methuen, Massachusetts, where she remained until her retirement in 2003.
Suellen found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved observing nature from the bay window of her office and was an enthusiastic fan of reality television—especially shows on Bravo. She treasured staying connected with her children, grandchildren, and the many friends of her children whom she had watched grow up over the years. She delighted in a good secret—though she was rarely able to keep one for long. One of her favorite pastimes was browsing QVC in search of the “latest item”. Suellen will be remembered as an amazing woman with a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor, and a colorful vocabulary that brought laughter to those around her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Joseph Conley; her brother, Joseph Conley; her sister, Nancy Conley; and many beloved pets.
Suellen is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, John Eaton; her four children: Matthew J. Eaton and his wife, Cara, of Mashpee, Massachusetts; Megan E. Eaton of Andover, Massachusetts; and twin daughters, Mary D. (Eaton) Fugge and her husband, Daniel, of Salem, New Hampshire, and Martha J. (Eaton) Hanson and her husband, Chris, of Dracut, Massachusetts.
She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia M. (Conley) Mahoney of Philadelphia and Sr. Sheila R. Conley of Wellesley, Massachusetts; her eight cherished grandchildren, Bryce Eaton, Zachary Saab, Shea Eaton, Callia Eaton, Annabella Fugge, Jacob Hanson, Makenna Hanson, and Alanna Fugge; as well as many special nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Breen Funeral Home, 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, Massachusetts. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
