Stephen G. Kamal's Obituary
Stephen G. Kamal, 70 of Salem, NH, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
Stephen was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Grace (Haykal) and Emil Kamal. He graduated from Lawrence High School and was the owner and operator of Kamal Spring Water Company for nearly 50 years before his retirement in 2016. Stephen was an active member of St. George’s Orthodox Church in Lawrence where he was a member of the Fellowship of St. John’s. He was a lifetime member of the Lawrence B.P.O.E. #65 for over 30 years.
He leaves his beloved wife of 44 years Brenda A. (Assad) Kamal of Salem, NH, a daughter Jennifer and her husband Scott Balukonis of Manchester, NH, a son Michael and his wife Paige Kamal of Derry, NH. Stephen is also survived by his grandchildren Jacob, Dylan and Autumn as well as his brothers Daniel Kamal and his wife Dorothy of Georgia and William Kamal of Boston, MA, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Stephen will also be missed by his favorite grand dogs Yoshi, Kayden and Jade.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 10:30 A.M. in St. George’s Orthodox Church, 8 Lowell St., Lawrence, MA. Please meet directly at church.
