Sharon A. (Lacroix) Augusta, a woman whose strength, compassion, and unwavering love touched the lives of so many passed away peacefully October 16th, 2024 at her home in Hampstead, NH surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lawrence, MA on October 17th, Sharon's journey was a testament to her resilience and dedication. She was a devoted wife to the late Lawrence police officer David Augusta Sr. A loving mother to David Augusta Jr. and his wife Christine, Dawn Brancato and her husband Santo, and Wayne Augusta. A sister to Henry, Mark, and Debbie Lacroix. A cherished Noni to the late David Augusta III, Olivia LaRocca, Santino Brancato, Andrew Augusta, Aaron Augusta, Emily Augusta, and Meredith Harvey. And most recently a great-Noni to Renzo August LaRocca.
Sharon's career as a nurse at St. Anne's Home was a reflection of her natural caring nature. She was known for her tough exterior, but those who knew her best understood the depth of her compassion and the unwavering care she provided to her patients. Her dedication to her profession was evident in the respect and admiration she earned from her colleagues.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sharon's greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and creating lasting memories. Her love for her family was boundless, and she was a constant source of support and encouragement.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, let us also celebrate the life she lived. Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 27th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, No. Andover, MA.
