Sally I. McManus' Obituary
Sally I. (Durocher) McManus, 77, a resident of Lawrence, MA. Died on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing & Restorative Center in Lawrence Surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Brentwood, NH, on May 26th, 1941 to John E. and Sadie T. Zakia she moved to Lawrence at a very young age. Having attended Lawrence public schools and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She went on to work as a Nurses Aid at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, she also worked at Oomphies Shoe Shopas well as the Internal Revenue Service, her last place of employment was at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Durocher of Lawrence, MA, daughters; Tammy McManus of Lawrence, MA, Sally Ann Hassan of Dracut, MA, sons; James Frederick Szlest of CT, and John P. McManus of Amesbury, MA. Sisters: Alice Cook of Salem, NH, Harriet Anne McGrath of Lawrence, MA Grand sons: David, Dillon, AJ, and Rowan, grand daughter: Magnolia & one great grand son: Dominick and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Hampshire St. Lawrence, MA, Burial services will follow In St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
