Ruth (Tourville) Cavanaugh, 82, a resident of North Andover, MA., passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA. Born in Leominster, MA., Ruth was educated at St. Leo's in Leominster and then went on to graduate from Becker College in Worcester, MA. She had worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Boston, MA. as a Tax Auditor. Members of Ruth's family include: a daughter: Joanne Cavanaugh and her husband Joseph L'Italien of North Andover, MA. sons: Rick Homewood and his wife Barbara of Lawrence, MA. and Kevin Homewood and his wife Lee of Maryland. grandchildren: Ryan and Kara L'Italien as well as several nieces and nephews. Private committal services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 in St. Leo's Cemetery in Leominster, MA. There are no calling hours.
