Rose (Rosaria) M. Morin, 88, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023
Born September 4, 1935 in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of Sebastiano and Christina Gangemi. Rose was educated in Lawrence, MA. She worked as a Paraprofessional for over 30 years in the Lawrence School System.
Rose loved spending time with her family, cooking meatballs for family dinners, loved the Hallmark Channel and game shows. Rose enjoyed her red wine, chocolate cake, listening to Italian music, The Rat Pack and especially Elvis Presley. Rose loved going to the Three Saints/Italian Feast in Lawrence, MA.
Rose is survived by her five children, Cheryl Valadares of Lawrence, MA. Donna and her husband Joe Goulet of Salem, NH. Ronnie Morin of Lawrence, MA. Alex and his wife Kelly Morin of Methuen, MA. Alicia and her husband Tim Totten of Lawrence, MA. Seventeen grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren.
Rose is predeceased by her brother Antonio Apice.
Her family would like to express our thanks to the staff of Boston Medical Center, they treated her with extraordinary care and kindness.
Family and friends are cordially invited to call on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 8:30am to 9:30am at the John Breen Memorial Funeral home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Rose's funeral mass with follow at Holy Rosary Shrine at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St Mary Immaculate Conception in Methuen, MA.
