Mr. Ronald J. Castonguay, 54, of East Kingston, New Hampshire passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007 at Exeter Hospital. He was born in Peabody, MA and raised by Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Malvina Castonguay. He was educated by the Saint J Read Obituary
My sincere condolences to the Castonguay family. I am just now finding out about Ronnie. It was a shock to us and definitely difficult to take in. I am so very sorry for your loss..Ronnie seemed to have everything to live for, unfortunately, his life ended too soon.

If my memory is correct, Ronnie and I met in Kindergarden at St. Josephs School in Salem Mass and were friends throughout grammar school until he changed schools come 9th or 10th grade. My family knew him well also...I can remember him riding his bike to our house near palmer cove park. I don't know anybody that didn't like Ronnie...he was always so personable and likable. Little did I know, that he moved up to N.H., as we did and only lived approximately 20 minutes away!I am surprised that we never ran into each other...I wish we had now. Ron, Gloria and I are going to miss you so much. Your smile, hugs, and caring way are burnt into our memories. You were truly a GREAT friend and a GREAT dive buddy. I remember the Nubble Light dives, especially the night dives we liked so much. The pumpkin carving dive in Rockport, Our Blackbeard diving cruises in the beautiful Caribbean with You, Me, Al, CR and Tim. And remember the fog dive at Ordien Point, just to mention a few.
