Roland "Uncle Joe" J. Plouffe, 86, a resident of Methuen, MA. died on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Lawrence General Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1925 to George F. and Eveline (Harris) Plouffe in Lowell, MA. He was educated in Lowell local schools. He work for Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. He loved to spend time with his family, to play bingo and going out with his friends. He leaves his two brothers: Raymond and his wife Nancy Plouffe of Waltham, MA and Phillip Plouffe of Fall River, MA. He is predeceased by; his brother Harold Plouffe, and his two sisters; Mary Plouffe and Shirley Eyssi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Fidelity House in Methuen for their wonderful care and kindness toward ?Uncle Joe.? A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. A burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA.
