Roland Arthur Jacques' Obituary
Roland Arthur Jacques, 90, of South Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026. He was born November 4, 1935, in Lawrence, MA, son of the late Philias and Josephine Jacques, Roland was educated in Saint Ann’s Grammar School also in Lawrence, MA.
Roland dedicated many years of his career to Malden Mills, where he worked as a packer and inspector. Following his time there, he was employed by the Southwell Colhman Company in North Chelmsford, MA., for several years before retiring.
Roland was a devoted parishioner of Saint Patrick’s Church. He enjoyed watching movies and dining out, finding joy in life’s everyday moments.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline G. (Beaudet) Jacques. Roland is survived by his daughter, his grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by several siblings.
His funeral services were held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. and are under the care of the Breen Memorial Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roland’s memory to Cancer Management or the Epilepsy Foundation.
