Robert M. Lavin's Obituary
Robert M. Lavin, 76, a resident of Methuen, MA passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover.
Born in Lawrence, Robert was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He had worked in sales and marketing for the Automotive Industry for many years. Robert was a member of the Shriners for many years and he used to enjoy tinkering with cars and small engine repair.
The son of the late Dominick J. Lavin and Helen (Harvey) Lavin Cahill as well as father to the late Shawn M. Lavin, members of Robert’s family include his wife of 53 years Irene M. (Viger) Lavin, his son Thomas J. Lavin, Sr. and his wife Toni of Haverhill, MA, grandchildren Lyndsey Charalambous and her husband Michael of Georgetown, MA, Thomas J. Lavin, Jr. and his fiancé Brittany Blaney of Seabrook, NH, and Jacob A. Lavin of Haverhill, MA. Robert is also survived by his brothers Donald Lavin and Michael Lavin and his wife Claire as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will take place at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday morning prior to the services from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.
