Robert "Butch" H. Couture's Obituary
Robert “Butch” H. Couture, 72, of Salem, N.H. Passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, MA.
Robert was born in Lawrence, MA. on May 17, 1948, son of the late Henry A. and Lucille (Legendre) Couture.
Robert was educated in the Lawrence school system. He lived in San Diego, California most of his adult life, and then moved to Stuart, Florida before returning home to help care for his mother 12 years ago. His family was grateful for his return home and enjoyed his company, generosity and love during those years. He played an important part in the lives of many since his return.
Robert worked as a Banquet Convention Manager on Harbor Island in San Diego for many years. He was a Baker at Ralph’s in CA and BJ’s in Salem, NH and retired a few years ago from the Salvation Army.
He was predeceased by his loving family Lorraine Bellemore, her husband Ken, Adam, Rena “Tut” Dupuis, and Judith Kerns. Robert leaves his sister Lynn A. Barry, nieces Kim Cinquegrana, Kristy McEvoy and her husband Jon, and Mackenzie Barry, his nephews Kenneth Bellemore, his wife Jennifer, Robert Barry, his wife Diana and Nicholas Barry and brother-in-laws Bob Barry and Mark Kerns. He was a great uncle to Shane Hustus, Hailey and Amelia Bellemore and Margot L. Barry. He was loved and will be missed by all including his favorite Aunt, Jeannette Bean, many family members and good friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours between 10am-12pm on Sunday October 18, 2020 at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home 122 Amesbury St. Lawrence, MA 01841.
Due to the Covid-19 masks and social distancing is required. You may leave online condolences with your address and the funeral home will mail out prayer cards if you are unable or chose not to attend. Maximum capacity is 25 people in the funeral home at one time, according to Federal, State and/or Local government officials.
