Robert L. Cole's Obituary
Robert L. Cole passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 3rd, at his daughters house in Laconia, New Hampshire where he and his wife were celebrating their 50th anniversary.
Robert was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on February 5, 1944, but moved to Lawrence as a child where he lived most of his life
and was educated in the local schools.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Robert Cole and Annette (Provencher) Cole, a sister Eva (Cole) Mitchell and a son, Lee E. Cole.
Robert is survived by his wife Esther (Dalton) Cole, his children Arthur Poulin, Robin Poulin, Tracey (Poulin) Leath, Robert Poulin, Laurie Ann (Cole) Privitera, Tina Marie Cole and Raylene Marie (Cole) Rutland, 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Surviving sisters are Gladys (Cole) Poulin and Annette (Cole) Smith. Robert also had several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert was retired from E.J. Systems. His joys in life were fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
A service will be held to celebrate Roberts life at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, on September 12 from 2pm to 4pm. All are welcome.
There will be a celebration of life following the service at 15 Leeds Terrace So.Lawrence Ma. at the home of Jeremy and Michelle Custeau.
