Robert J. Adiconis' Obituary
Robert J Adiconis 86, died at the High Pointe House in Haverhill MA peacefully with his family by his side. Born in Lawrence, MA he was the son of the late Martinas Adukonis and Ester (Kindaraviczus) Adukonis. He was preceded in death by his loving and caring wife Marie A (Norkus) Adiconis. He grew up in Lawrence MA and graduated from Central Catholic. He went on to pursue a career in Engineering and was a graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover MA. He later worked for Raytheon in Andover, and it was there where he spent most of his career before he retired in 2004. In his spare time, he was involved in the North Andover youth sports programs specifically basketball where he played multiple roles as commissioner/coach for over 40 years. He also enjoyed his summer home in Kennebunk ME where he liked to swim and walk along the beach. Robert leaves his two sons Robert J Adiconis and his wife Catherine (Merrill) Adiconis of Anthem AZ, Stephen A Adiconis and his wife Xian (Xue) Adiconis of North Andover. A sister-in-law Joan (Mercier)Espinola and her husband Charles Espinola of Londonderry NH. A granddaughter Zoe Adiconis of North Andover and a grandson Scott Adiconis of Anthem AZ. Four nephews Richard Volpe of Houston Texas, Robert Volpe of Phoenix AZ, Charles Espinola of Derry NH, John Espinola of Washington State and a niece Norma Lyons of Fernando Beach FL.
