Rita C. (Noone) Danahy's Obituary
Mrs. Rita C. (Noone) Danahy, 90, of North Andover, MA., formerly of Saugus, MA., passed away on Wednesday, June 20th, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital. She was born in Lawrence, MA., was educated in the North Andover Schools and was a graduate of the Johnson High School in North Andover, MA. Mrs. Danahy attended Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA. She worked for Sears and Roebuck in Saugus, MA and for Massachusetts Rehab as a secretary to the councilors for the deaf. Mrs. Danahy was wonderful with her hands making Beautiful Quilts for her family, doing needlework, and crocheting beautiful doilies. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the former wife of the late: Mr. Christopher P. Danahy. She leaves her daughters: Carol A. McCormack and her husband Leonard of Boxford, MA. and Patricia C. Cunningham and her husband Marvin of Windham, NH She leaves her sons: William E. Danahy and his wife Linda of Saugus, MA Robert A. Danahy of Melrose, MA and Stephen M. Danahy and his wife Kathleen of Swampscott, MA. her sister: Eleanor Lee of Salem, New Hampshire As well as 15 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Christopher P. Danahy. and her brothers: William Noone, Joseph Noone, and James Noone. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to celebrate her funeral mass on Monday, June 25th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow at the Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover, MA. Relatives and Friends may call on Sunday, June 24th, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.
