Mr. Raymond J. Marquette's Obituary
Raymond J. Marquette, 84, a resident of Chester, NH and formerly of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Raymond was educated in the Methuen Schools. He had worked for Avco and Raytheon in Quality Control for almost 25 years. A United States Air Force Veteran, Raymond had served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and watching television.
The son of the late Robert and Lilly (Constantine) Marquette, members of Raymond's family include: his wife of 60 years Patricia A. (Marsh) Marquette, children: Karen Wells and her husband Randy of Bedford, NH, Wayne and his wife Patricia of Nashua, NH, Linda A. Marquette of Chester, NH, and John and his wife Luchie of Keene, NH. Raymond is also survived by his grandchildren: Kerri Benton, Krista Fogarty, Sean Marquette, Danielle Marquette, Kristen Marquette, Ryan Bussey, Jai Marquette and Jiroh Marquette as well as his great grandchildren: Kaleigh Marquette, Damon Ouellette, Aidan Johnson and Brady Johnson. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Marquette and his sister Dorothy Marquette.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Monica's Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. Burial will take place at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday morning prior to the mass from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
