Randy O. Shunkaha Luta Oquendo Garcia, 55, of Matawan NJ, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022.
He was born in Puerto Rico and traveled the world most of his adult life. He enjoyed dancing at pow pows.
Mr. Oquendo-Garica was a member of St. Mary Parish.
His family members include his sister
Melissa Oquendo, Roberto (nene)Oquendo, his nephew, Nakeisha Zaida Oquendo his niece, Zavian Oquendo his great nephew from Everett,MA, his sisters Elizabeth Garcia of Fitchburg, MA, Nereida Oquendo of Orlando, FL, Luz Haydee Oquendo-Hillaire and husband Jerry Hillaire of Orlando FL. His Aunt Iris Garcia and her husband Junior Vicente of Kissimmee FL. Abemelec Rosado-Jimenez best friend from Elizabeth, NJ Mario Lanza best friend from New Brunswick NJ. Several nieces, nephews and Great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:30 at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following the wake at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
