Priscilla Alice (Morin) Hennessey's Obituary
Priscilla Alice (Morin) Hennessey, 83, of Epping, NH, formerly of Methuen and Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully at home just days after the passing of her husband of almost 63 years, James R. Hennessey.
Born in Methuen, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Napoleon Morin and Irene (Corneau) Morin. She was raised in Lawrence, where she attended St. Rita’s Grammar School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School.
Priscilla built a long and dedicated career in banking and finance. She began her career with Arlington Trust Company on Essex Street in Lawrence and later continued across the street at First Essex Bank, where she spent more than 20 years in branch management. She went on to finish her career as a Credit Manager with Polaroid Corporation in Bedford, MA.
In 1963, she married James, and together they built a life centered on family, loyalty, and shared experiences. After sharing more than 62 years of marriage and family life together, her passing comes just days after James, marking the end of a remarkable life chapter they built side by side.
She was the devoted mother of her daughter, Michelle Hennessey of Epping, NH, and her son, Darren Hennessey of Kansas City, MO.
Priscilla had a deep and lifelong love of animals. From her beautiful Golden Palomino to the thirteen different Golden Retrievers who were part of her family over the years, her home was always filled with warmth, life, and unconditional love.
She also had a passion for travel and found her greatest joy exploring the world with her daughter. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter, adventure, and a bond that was truly special.
She had a fun-loving spirit and a way of embracing life that made her truly unforgettable—whether it was traveling, enjoying time with family, or heading to concerts to see P!nk or Lady Gaga. She was, without a doubt, the “cool mom.”
Priscilla will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her devotion to those she loved, and the beautiful life she built alongside her family. Her love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 23rd from 5:00–7:00 PM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
