Phyllis M. (Roberts) Donohue's Obituary
Phyllis M. (Roberts) Donohue, 83, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the M.I. Restorative and Skilled Nursing Center. She is the widow of Joseph B. Donohue died in 1994. Mrs. Donohue was born and educated in Maine, after which she graduated from the New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Boston, MA. She also had attended Boston University. Mrs. Donohue was employed as a Supervisor at New England Deaconess Hospital for 17 years before moving to Lawrence, MA. For fifteen years prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Nursing Supervisor at the M.I. Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Donohue was predeceased by three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her step-children: Michael J. Donohue of North Andover, MA., Joseph B. Donohue, Jr., of Plaistow, NH., Maureen and her husband Joseph Forzese of Methuen, MA. She is also survived by four beloved grandchildren: Michael Donohue, Meaghan and Ryan Donohue, and Karissa Forzese as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Her funeral services will be private. At the request of the family, there are no calling hours.
