Pauline S. (Gauthier) Potvin's Obituary
Mrs. Pauline S. (Gauthier) Potvin, 92, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, August 22nd, 2010 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence, MA. She was born on April 18th, 1918 in Prince Edward Island, Canada to the late John and Philomene (Arsenault) Gauthier. Pauline was educated in Saint Anne's School in Lawrence, MA. She worked for the Pacific Mills, the Jo'Gal Shoe Shops and later she retired from Gillette Company in Andover, MA. She was an attendant of Saint Michael Church in North Andover, MA. Pauline was a member of The Red Hat Society and a member of a Salem, New Hampshire Bowling League. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and crocheting; of which she made many of afghans. She especially loved spending time at her home with her family and friends. wife of the late Mr. Oscar Potvin of who passed in 1974. Her family members include: Her daughters: Pauline and her husband Arthur Bonenfant of Lawrence, MA Lorraine and her husband Robert LaChance of Salem, NH 7 Grandchildren: Robert and his wife Beth Bonenfant, Brenda and her husband Tom Conlon, Janice and her husband Dan Loughlin, Cyndi and her husband Rob Charest, Gail Bonenfant, Jackie and her husband Mark Endyke, Robert and his wife Kathy LaChance. As well as 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.
