Patricia A Kenneally's Obituary
Patricia A. (McKenna) Kenneally, 76, a resident of Haverhill, MA passed away suddenly on January 13, 2022, at High Pointe Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Patricia (Pat) was educated at St. Patrick’s grammar school and is a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, class of 1962. She worked in retail and banking for several years before starting a 25 year career as the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator for North Andover Public Schools. After her retirement, she worked part-time for AAA in North Andover.
Pat led an active lifestyle. She loved to golf and go for long walks at the beach and in the woods. She enjoyed bowling and never missed her Wednesday league. Pat travelled all over the world, but her favorite trips with her husband were Patriot and Red Sox road games and her treasured trip to Ireland. She was an avid reader. She read the newspaper every day and always had a book or two going. Pat was a caring person who gave to many charities and she loved a great conversation. She loved her grandchildren and her most precious times were attending all of their sporting events and activities.
Pat is survived by her husband of 56 years Francis J. Kenneally Jr., two sons: Francis J. Kenneally III and his wife Amy of North Andover and Sean P. Kenneally of Lee, NH, grandchildren Maggie Kenneally, Sean M. Kenneally, Jason Kenneally, and Aaron Kenneally, nieces Suzanne McCartin, Paula McCartin and Eileen Letellier Dionisio. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary McKenna and brother Francis McKenna.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday January 20, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at John Breen Funeral Home 35 Merrimack Street North Andover, MA. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday January 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01835. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
