My deepest sympathies are with the Foley/Karl family. As a friend since first grade, I also mourn the passing of my lifelong friend. Her legacy of good deeds, dedicated efforts, and enduring compassion is a huge gift to our needy world. The pride and love she felt for her family set the groundwork for remarkable achievements. So sad! Loved Pat and all she did for Lawrence. She I can say definitely that she changed the trajectory of my life. I was contacted by the Massachusetts Service Alliance in 1996 to host the Americorps swearing ceremony in Boston on Copley plaza to represent our City C.O.R.E Program. During the event I mention how I wished my mother was there to see me. After the event was over Pat come over to me and said “Andres if you mother was here she would be just as proud of you as I am.” And gave me a huge hug. I will never forget Pat. Dedicated to Lawrence and it youth for a lifetime.
